Role Overview

The individual would be part of Dell’s Performance Analytics Group - Customer Experience Proactive Intelligence and should possess excellent Product Owner skills, Techno Functional Skills, development & deployment expertise, and team & leadership skills. You should be passionate about customer experience and satisfaction. As part of the team you will be responsible for requirements analysis, project planning, facilitating business review meetings, new development, innovation, implementing and deploying new enhancements for CFS Business supported by PAG ORganization. This role would also involve participation in Transformation programs, interacting with development teams globally, work closely with our business partners to understand requirements, and high quality deliverables in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for various application development catering to CFS space, embedding BI and Analytics into Application development and Robotic process automation. Key Responsibilities
  • Product Owner with Techno functional experience in the area of BI Analytics to an extent of 5 to 8 years
  • Lead POC and integration design across both internal and externally supported products.
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
  • Works with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate technical, application or configuration solutions
  • Experience with UX Design and should be able to Build Visual Simulations / Prototypes
  • Solicits, develops, documents and manages requirements and provides detailed design and business rules to support the requirements throughout project life cycle up to and through change control
  • Build out technical demonstrations for service patterns, integration efforts, and modern coding practices.
  • Long-term strategic responsibility for the company’s IT systems, including reducing total cost of ownership, modernizing the architecture, and innovation to support the business.
  • Partner with development teams across the functional areas to prioritize capabilities, drive architectural standards and governance, and support key strategic initiatives.
  • Work with program managers identifying issues / risks and required mitigation to ensure delivery of end-to-end strategic design
  • Assists project managers in defining, documenting, and clarifying business requirements; guide junior analysts in business requirements documentation; evaluate and articulate technical requirements and identify impact, risks, and benefits of alternative solutions
  • Connect with the scrum teams across the org to clarify business and technical capability needs and investigate dependencies
  • Review technical artifacts to meet industry standards
  • Own and drive technical and functional improvements across platform/applications
  • Management of the risks associated with information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology leaders, architects and developers
  • Publish technical whitepapers and architecture documentations on standards, guidelines, and innovation.
  • Successfully communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to executive stakeholders and the development team
  • Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
  • Reviews system test plans and system tests modules before implementation
  • Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, and training materials) and training for accuracy
  • Works with the user to select or create appropriate scenarios to test all results to determine whether system changes met project specifications; uses scenarios to assist the end user in acceptance testing
  • During upgrades, monitors production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users Develops detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in conjunction with other account team associates
  • Ensures that documentation is updated when change requests are approved for the project Provides input on processes, procedures, or new approaches
  • Instructs, directs and reviews the work of other business systems analysts Utilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance
  • Estimates and develops technical project plans for medium to high complexity projects; leads cross-functional team through delivery Builds relationships with customers to improve services and ensure service levels are met
  • Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations and other materials) for knowledge transfer to executives Executes medium to high complexity configuration requests, oversees configuration requests for a solution, and understands implications of configuration options on other modules
  • Creates high complexity functional designs and low-medium complexity solution designs using a disciplined application implementation methodology
  • Writes regression test scripts; coordinates and leads testing activities for projects
  • Provides training and documentation for users on end-to-end system functionality; partners with end users to document existing business and IT processes and make recommendations for improvement; translates results into systems requirements
Essential Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years strong technical experience in participating in highly-complex projects independently that cross multiple business units, divisions, functions, and regions
  • Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and concisely and build consensus / relationships in a matrix environment
  • Ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are implemented by technology
  • Have passion for learning and incorporating cutting edge solutions
  • Functional Area: CRM, Support and Deployment Services; related KPIs
  • Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal as well as visualizations
  • Technical Skills
 Strong understanding and hands-on with BI, Analytics, Data Science and some Application Development with .Net or Java

 Strong hands on with BI Tools like Power BI and DBMS platforms like Teradata

 Experience in cloud architecture (preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry), knowledge of creating micro services in .NET core and deployment concepts (blue, green deployment, A/B deployment)

 Proficient in

 Code versioning tools TFS, GIT, etc.

 CI/CD, Build pipeline: E.g. Octopus, TeamCity, Gitlab CI

 Repository management: e.g. archiva, artifactory

 Monitoring e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics

 Experience with any of Data Warehousing, Data Integration (Streamsets), BI (PowerBI / Tableau), Analytics (Python / R), Teradata, Greenplum, MemSQL, Hadoop / Spark would be a big plus

 Experience in Database design principles, query tuning in SQL Server 2012/ 2014/ 2016

 Knowledge of NoSQL DB like Mongo DB, TypeScript
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
