Job Description

Sales & Marketing
  • Forecasting sales targets and executing them in a given time frame thereby enhancing existing clientele
  • Driving sales efforts for the attainment of targets with a view to optimize revenue and achieve business excellence
Client Relationship Management
  • Identifying prospective institutional accounts from various sectors for business excellence
  • Initiating/developing relations with key decision-makers in target organizations for business development in pre-sales negotiation stages
Business Development
  • Developing marketing plans designed to assure achievement of agreed to volume, market share and profit objectives
  • reviewing the competition after an in-depth analysis of market information to fine-tune the marketing strategies
Key Result Areas across assignments:-

Sales & Marketing
  • Develop marketing strategies to build consumer preference and drive volumes in North Eastern Region.
  • Evolve and formulate marketing procedures and commercial framework and monitor effectiveness.
  • Launch new products, thereby increasing the product portfolio of the company.
  • Analyze market trends, sales performance through channels, Independent Business Associates, and other critical trends.
Business Development
  • Evolve market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets.
  • Identify key/institutional and direct accounts and strategically secure profitable business.
Branding & Product Management
  • Organize and conduct sales promotional activities as a part of brand building and market development effort.
  • Conceptualize visual merchandising displays, windows, POP & design of retail outlets for maintenance of a high-end store Image.
Distribution Management
  • Identify and appoint reliable depots/distributors/dealers/franchises/retailers, monitor the performance and implement incentive schemes thereby increasing the motivational level.
  • Develop/sustain the existing network & effectively manage the supply chain, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Assist the channel partners to meet their business targets and achieve profitable ROI.
  • Identify and penetrate the major projects (Govt. and Private in North-East) and institutional and direct key-accounts and strategically secure profitable business.
Logistics
  • Coordinating with C&F Agents, ensuring timely clearances and cost effective transport solutions.
  • Negotiating with transporters, shippers, etc. to ensure seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment.
People Management
  • Impart training to new recruits and create awareness on products and SOPs.
  • Motivate, mentor, guide and monitor front liners and second line executives to achieve goals.
  • Lead teams and ensure optimum performance and profitability in line with targeted objectives.
