Key responsibilities include:

1. Strategic responsibilities:

  • Key account management & client relationship management: To handle the most valuable clients. To manage the account, build strong relationships with the client, identify challenges or opportunities, and find ways to assist with these challenges and opportunities
  • Develop synergies with business development and operations expertise to ensure smooth execution
  • Building a hardware sales strategy in line with the business development goals
  • Devise an in-depth Go To Market Strategy for existing or new products in collaboration with other teams
  • Collaborative mind-set to work with experienced leaders in the software, product, business and marketing teams
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Build operational rigor within the team to meet the operational goals
  • Value based selling by bunding Software & Solutions in addition to hardware Sales
  • Innovative Business Sales Module & Value based Sales
  • Corporate B2B Sales of Embedded Devices
  • Generating sales Pipelines, revenues & contributing to corporate sales strategy
  • Define optimal sales force structure

2. Functional responsibilities: -

  • You will be responsible for the hardware sales with a focus on sales, account management and partnerships while supporting product, support & implementation teams to scale.
  • Meets with existing clients to discuss a companys products and services
  • Networks with prospective clients to persuade them to bring their business to the company.
  • Sets specific quarterly or annual sales goals & draws up sales activity reports
  • Works to ensure sales and productivity goals are met. Lead teams including Inside Sales and other BDMs
  • Will focus on identifying and executing lead generation strategies
  • Work with enterprise clients throughout the Sales development life cycle
  • Develop a plan to achieve the business sales targets & Train and coach individual Sales managers
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth

To qualify for the role, you must have: -

  • Engineering degree (Electronics OR Equivalent degree) +MBA with 15-20 years of exp in IT/ITES /Fintech hardware industry Sales like mobiles, Laptops, Printers, Tabs, Mobility Devices. NO Graduates.
  • Added advantage with experience in POS, MicroAtm, Biometric devices sales.
  • Proven work experience as AVP/Sr Mgr or other Senior Role in Sales
  • Experience building and managing high performing sales team and selling enterprise technology in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good network and capability to bring in business through your earlier network
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mind-set, with ability to make difficult decisions

You will earn brownie points if you have: -

  • Successful previous or current experience in Hardware Sales at senior or leadership positions, consistently meeting or exceeding Sales targets.
  • Expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution
  • Strong research and analytical skills in order to identify emerging gaps or opportunities
  • The candidate must be capable of effectively co-ordinating with principals & customers to derive best results
  • The desired candidate must be able to enhance the brand value of the organization & possess excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possesses knowledge of competitive products and markets
