Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

The primary focus at EITSI is to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM system, Mobile Apps & other B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses. Job Description


POSITION TITLE
: Process Lead/Process Manager/Process Coach

REPORTING TO: Associate Director

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:The Process Lead/Manager (CMMI Specialist) is a key role to support the process improvement (CMMI V2.0) initiative that will help assess the quality of the software delivered by a growing Software Development Company to its customers. This role will be part of the Delivery Excellence Group, which helps the organization sustain CMMI V2.0 Level 3 and support other methodology (Agile) related implementations. The team is responsible to implement the Process Improvement Roadmap that would help the organization be more systematically managed by a combination of process optimization and continuous process improvements based on CMMI framework.


Responsibilities
:

  • Be an integral part of the DEG team; be flexible to take up assignments within the team such as Coaching, Auditing, Trainings, Estimation methodology implementation, process improvement projects, IT QMS process improvements, agile practices implementation etc.;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT QMS aligning to CMMI V2.0 within the organization across geographies;
  • Identify improvements opportunities in the existing policies, processes, procedures, templates and metrics for the organization;
  • Provide the process, which will drive and deliver software products on-time with high quality; using agile(Scrum/Kanban/Any Scaled frameworks) and customer focused quality practices throughout project work;
  • Define and utilize metrics and reports to manage quality efforts;
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal teams to establish standard documentation procedures;
  • Participate/Drive in project team meetings to provide guidance and support related to process and project documentation;
  • As needed engage with program(s) with project management expertise to support/ensure successful delivery by a combination of coaching, training and auditing capabilities;
  • Prepare and conduct quality assurance product reviews and prepare projects teams ready for process audits according to the audit plan;
  • Analyze current workflows and review existing documentation for best practices and process improvement opportunities;
  • Recommend and implement improvements to current processes and documentation to assure compliance with CMMI standards;
  • Support internal/external CMMI appraisals as required;
  • Evaluate projects/programs and provide value added Agile coaching in various methods like SCRUM, Kanban, Scaled frameworks etc.;
  • Provide visibility on project/program progress status to various level of IT Management.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in software development organisation, of which at least 5-7 years should be in a Quality Assurance function exclusively implementing CMMI processes, and 2-3 years in implementing CMMI practices across agile projects on Scrum/Kanban/SAFE frameworks;
  • Commanding project leadership and follow-through with delivery team resources, including Product Management, Operations and QA;
  • Strong customer focused, team oriented communication skills with emphasis on building lasting, trusted partnerships through written and verbal communications, presentations to management;
  • Sound understanding of Process Frameworks/Methodologies like CMMI-Dev, SVC, AGILE SCRUM, KANBAN etc.;
  • Experience in implementation of CMMI (CMMI Development 2.0) framework and prepare project teams to face external appraisals;
  • Ability to document processes, procedures and creating templates and guidelines from scratch;
  • Working knowledge of process improvement initiatives and models and how they are implemented on projects/within organizations;
  • Experience of analysing processes and procedures in large, complex organization(s);
  • Good understanding of various software development life cycles;
  • Experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously.


Technology skills:

Mandatory

  • Usage of Agile-based (SCRUM) project management & collaboration tools is highly desirable (e.g. Experience in using Microsoft Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online, Automation using Power BI);
  • Expertise in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word, Advanced Excel with Macros, Power BI and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent analytical, inter-personal and communication (Verbal and Witten) skills.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts and present in in a convincing manner.


Preferred

  • CMMI V2.0 certification is highly desirable but not absolutely necessary.
  • PSM/CSM (Professional/Certified Scrum Master) desirable; Agile Coaching expertise would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools like MS Project.

  • The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality;
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global stakeholders from India,US & Europe;

Qualifications


BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor’s degree with the right experience
