Key Accountabilities

  • Run the Plant Production efficiently taking up the complete responsibility starting with People, Production, Quality of the product ensuring smooth running of all the equipment’s.
  • Investigate and analyse problems and devise solutions that save money, time, and materials.
  • Periodically review design drawings, bill of materials, and highlight deviations & changes faced in the assembly of machines.
  • Maintaining accurate project records such as updated drawings and documents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate manufacturing with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and other departments, as well as with vendors and shippers.
  • Help ensure that customer, statutory, standards, and internal requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate manufacturing workers; monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement; identify and utilize methods of making manufacturing process more efficient and effective (reducing waste, using lean).
  • Write manufacturing reports and present to top management.
  • Direct corrections (corrective action) of any manufacturing problems that may arise; work with Quality Manager in development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

What You Bring

  • Proven experience working in Manufacturing (heavy industry) required in Mining machineries.
  • Engineer by qualification with 10-15 years and above experience.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating factory
  • Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology
  • Familiar with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and managerial attributes.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
