The Sales consultant will be an integral part of Sattva’s Impact Measurement & Advisory (IMA) Sales team with a strong focus on growing the NGO and Corporate customer base for our IMA team

In addition, the role will be responsible for:

  • Develop measurable quarter-wise plans based on corporate strategy to track sales performance and present realistic revenue forecasts to the management team
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by onboarding new customer relationships
  • Build strong lasting relationships with customers as a trusted partner and work closely with the delivery team to the needs of the customer
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition
  • Represent Sattva at key forums, conferences, events to build our network and generate potential leads
  • Gather requirements from the client, write detailed proposals and presentations, scout for relevant RFPs
  • Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, delivery teams to develop proposals/ pitches for new opportunities
  • Strengthen the Sales Intelligence by sharing insights with the team on additional parameters to measure performance and market, analyses to support regional plans

Following are the key requirements for the candidates applying to this role,

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consultative sales and B2B sales
  • Ability to approach sales in a consultative way and creating mutual value to stakeholders involved
  • Strong interest to work in the social impact sector, to help build the bridge between business and society
  • Entrepreneurial skills with the ability to forecast and take desired actions in an agile manner
  • Highly adaptable to unforeseen circumstances
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Self-driven and motivated, can take ownership and independently execute on

projects

Desired competencies

  • Knowledge of the development landscape in India and around the world, including an in-depth understanding of the roles of various stakeholders (government, academia, international institutions, foundations, non-profit and corporate organizations) is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power-Point) and social networking applications
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Highly entrepreneurial
