Mining is a key focus industry for Cyient where Cyient is driving focused investments to create increased value to its customers and to the mining industry. Recently, Cyient concluded acquisition of IG Partners, a specialist consulting company based out of Australia whose core competence lies in driving value creation and transformation of mines across their lifecycle and therefore the miners’ business performance.

We are looking for candidates with a passion to make a change in the mining sector, with the ability to challenge ourselves and push the envelope that ultimately helps our customers, society and the environment.

We are looking for passionate solution architect who can help deliver transformational outcomes to our mining customers in areas around exploration, mine planning and digital transformation thus strengthening their advantage

Candidates to have prior experience and strong knowledge in the areas of mine exploration with a strong appreciation for geosciences and geospatial range of activities and solutions.

Experience and familiarity with Mine planning activities will be desirable.

Role & Responsibility:

• Lead the thought leadership in the exploration and mine planning space for the mining sector
• Lead cross functional team of experts across sales, delivery, technology, finance in help development and deployment of transformational solutions meeting customers’ expectations and budgets.
• Responsible for enabling intelligent offering for the sector, tracking technology trends, providing proofs of concepts in new areas/ accountable for investments so made, providing thought leadership & managing internal and external partnerships
• Identifies and invests in partnerships and alliances with technology partners that can be leveraged across the organization
• Liaises with the delivery organization for seeding new skills
• Monitors industry trends in services offered and undertakes strategic analysis of industry trends and competitor intelligence
• Drives implication of key industry and client trends for the BUs
• Accountable for the investments and its progress, building solution expertise in line with GTM offerings, devising and tracking metrics to evaluate business offerings and select for incubation and the response time and sales satisfaction on solution support
• Actively contribute as a core member of the sector towards product/solution roadmap and alignment to Customer/Market needs as well as choices in partner delivery ecosystem
• Help design, develop and maintain solution(s) based on customer/proposal requirements covering technical architecture, project sizing and implementation plan
• Create solution accelerators for new solutions based on the current solution created
• Understands customer challenges, understands vision and solution requirements, and builds an optimal roadmap for the identified solution
• Identify unmet demands of customers and create solutions for them
• Ensure solution is flexible, reliable, easy to use and learn and meets the desired quality
• Enable proactive campaigns and sales pitches relating to capabilities and IP
