Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
Meeting and exceeding sourcing targets
Sourcing vendor for new saree categories and has an understanding of PAN India Saree hubs.
Manging entire sourcing cycle from sampling to bulk dispatch
Get product quotation from different vendors
Able to negotiate the costing and re-engineer the product maintaining the final aesthetics to achieve better margins for the company
Should be able to create and work on TNAs; highlight any critical point
Should be able to block production capacity and confirm orders with the weavers
Maintain the required quality standards for the product
Ensure timely delivery of the product as agreed upon.
Coordinating with other team to ensure smooth delivery of products and services
Prepare regular reports and participating in regular meetings and review performance of team
Manage the payment terms with the vendor
- Self driven
Ability to handle a team
Ability to communicate
Good understanding of markets and customers
Willingness to travel to explore new markets
Requirements
1. A strong track record of success with prior experience in a sarees and textiles category
2. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
3. Self-starter with a strong track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
4. Strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organization
Preferences:
You have a diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
You have a diploma/degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
