SPi Global is hiring Senior Devops Engineers (Immediate joiner - Chennai) for our current development projects


Senior DevOps Engineer works with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably



Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising junior developers, developing software and configuring systems, and performing diagnostic tests throughout the stages of development.
  • Build and handle VMs, Containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Building, designing and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, etc
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD process for SaaS applications by accessing tools like Maven, Jenkins, etc
  • Project planning & forecast project duration and cost.


Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as Devops Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
  • Develop support & maintain end to end solutions using Github, Ansible, Jenkins/CodePipeline/Azure Devops.
  • Should have knowledge on Devops and deployment using Kubernetes on AWS or Azure
  • Should have good understanding of Conda managed environment with Maven builds
  • Should have experience with Jenkins/SonarQube/OWASP configurations
  • Experience in root cause analysis and fixing issues with production systems.


Essential Non-Technical skill:

  • Ability to oversee and mentor junior software developers, as well as report to management.
  • Work experience in Banking/Financial product is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Interpersonal skills and Team working skills.


Experience : 5 - 10 years in Devops

Location : Chennai (Adyar - after lockdown)
