Your Responsibilities

Job Description


Essential Job Duties:


  • Plan and Implement overall Supply Chain Logistics Strategy PAN India
  • Establish an efficient and reliable logistics network, including back-up arrangements, for pan India operations covering storage and warehouse facilities/arrangements, own and/or partner transport arrangements.
  • Execute formal contracts with all Service/facility providers, including service level agreements, penalties and claim procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from LHI - Procurement, Operations/Production, Sales teams and external stakeholders – Suppliers, Customers and transporters for both inward and outward logistics requirements.
  • Strategically plan and Execute logistical operations involving transportation, on time and safe movement of raw materials
  • Establish Costing Norms for movement of goods and procedures & innovate cost-optimization strategies
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess overall effectiveness of Logistics team performance and implement improvements.


Position Specific Competencies:


  • Knowledge of Import- Export processes and documentation
  • Experienced in using ERP for both planning and business transactions
  • PAN India Warehouse Management

Your Qualifications

Qualification and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferred)
  • MBA – Operations or equivalent ( Must)


Experience

  • 12-15 years of experience of service in Planning & Managing Logistics of White Goods.

  • Leadership Capabilities
  • Data Management & Budget Adherence
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills
  • Proficient in English(Verbal & Written) & understanding of local dialect
  • Strong Data Analysis
  • Expertise in MS-Office ( Excel, Word & Powerpoint - must)
  • Expertise in using ERP Software
