We are looking for a capable System Security Engineer, who enjoys security work and possesses both deep and wide expertise in the security space. The candidate will be responsible to perform and monitor System Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Install, Configure and maintain Linux and Windows Systems / Servers (Physical & Virtual)
  • Perform System Maintenance
  • Monitor System Performance
  • Provide L2 Technical Support and Guidance
  • Maintain System Security
  • Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
  • Fault finding, analysis, and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 2-3 years working experience in IT infra (On-prem & Cloud)
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows, VMware
  • Familiarity in DLP, EDR, Firewall, WAF, etc. deployment projects
  • Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP
  • Additional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Cloud, Product, etc.) will be considered an advantage
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge about Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
  • Cloud IT infra knowledge (O365, Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in security product (EDR,WAF,DLP etc.) or any other IT product (Antivirus, Backup Solution, Patch management solution) deployment
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle, GCP etc.)
  • Experience in Firewall (Sophos, FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco etc.) Management
  • Experience in IT infrastructure (On premise & Cloud / VMware & Hyper V) management
