Roles and Responsibilities

To plan Raw Material/Packing Material BSR requirement for production on monthly & Quarterly basic according to Quarterly planning in coordination with purchase department & planning cell.
To supervise entire engineering stores related activity.
Maintain & ensure the good manufacturing practices in receipt, identification, storage, handling, sampling, dispensing, temperature monitoring, cleaning, gowning and other activities of raw material and packaging material warehouse.
Co-ordination with other departments like Production, Maintenance, Quality control, Quality Assurance for effective implementation & maintain.
Train to all the staffs & workmen of his department to follow good manufacturing practices & EHS procedures while receipt, storage & dispensing of material within stores area and when transferring in the plant area.
To ensure all stores and BSR records are maintained as per required GMP & traceable to over date.
To prepare monthly stock statement report of raw material, packing material & finished good to fulfill statutory requirement.
To ensure departmental areas as well as equipment are kept clean and properly maintained.
Preparation of standard operating procedure for warehouse activity.
Handling Change control procedure as per requirement of process.
To co-ordinate on daily basis with purchase department as and when required.
Ensure all the GST formalities for the incoming and outgoing goods.
To ensure in-coming material GIM and accordingly inform to QC for sampling.
To keep records ready for yearly audits.
To follow FEFO/FIFO system in dispensing of material.
