The Role

Looking for a SDET with solid java development experience with extensive background in building test suites using Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium. Working as part of the development team and to be accountable for the testing framework and QA process and team for one of our prestigious client.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Scrum team, business team for understanding the requirements
  • Participate in the scrum meetings
  • Create and execute test cases
  • Build, enhance and maintain Cucumber automation framework.
  • Debug failures in automation scripts, perform root cause analysis and fix automation scripts
  • Create and execute automation scripts
  • Perform code reviews for automation scripts to ensure that standard coding practices are followed
  • Handle technical communications with the development team to comprehend E2E application flows, APIs etc.
  • Log defects, collaborate with stakeholders for Defect triage, and prepare defect reports
  • Build test status report based on the client needs

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of related experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Java: Concepts, Code, Advanced.
  • Solid knowledge of Testing Tools : Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium
  • Knowledge of DevOps : CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bit Bucket.
  • Knowledge of Test Automation Design Patterns & Frameworks.
  • Test Automation Mindset.
  • Sound Team communication
  • Basic knowledge of Agile
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
