Essential duties & responsibilities

Recruitment

Supporting the recruitment process for a diverse range of roles (predominantly technical) to include;

· Sourcing high quality candidates utilising the recruitment tools available

· Reviewing job descriptions and person specifications, advising hiring managers on best practice

· Advertising vacancies internally and externally (yammer, intranet, website and relevant job boards/LinkedIn)

· Arranging interviews and sending confirmations to direct candidates/liaising with recruitment agencies to provide all relevant information needed

· Sending online psychometric tests to candidates and collating reports

· Offer management; preparing all pre-offer paperwork ensuring that the process is adhered to

· Collecting and sending constructive feedback to candidates, ensuring an excellent candidate experience

· Working closely with the HR team on the recruitment and interviewing process

· Working with recruitment agencies on Claranet’s PSL where appropriate, building relationships and managing expectations

· Promoting direct hiring and the internal referral scheme throughout the business, continually look to reduce recruitment spend effectively

· Finding innovative and cost-effective ways of sourcing highly skilled candidates

· Taking part in managing the applicant tracking system, improving workflow and database cleansing

· Building and maintaining talent pools within the application tracking system

· Always keeping up to date with external recruitment trends (competitors, market, salaries etc)

· Assisting with the benchmarking of roles where appropriate with the HR team and/or Hiring Manager

· Arranging and conducting telephone interviews/candidate screening calls where appropriate

· Organising and participating in recruitment fairs/events

Human Resources

· Acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers in relation to general queries

· Coaching and supporting managers and employees through the employee lifecycle providing guidance and advice

· Provide managers with expert advice and guidance on all employee relations matters and risk mitigation

· Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity

· Conduct exit interviews, managing and monitoring any trends that occur

· Review and update employee handbook and policies as and when required

Administration

· Act as main point of contact for the administration and co-ordination of employee benefits, maintain good supplier relationships and keep up to date with ne benefits and the platform

· Provide all relevant information to benefit providers for new starters

· Collate and provide monthly benefits reporting that feeds into payroll, the insurance brokers, and the benefits platform

Position specifications

Essential

· Proven track record of sourcing high quality candidates either within an agency environment or in-house

· Good solid operational HR experience

· Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally

· High motivated and energetic team player with a can do, flexible attitude

· Ability to be persuasive, persistent and patient

· Must be comfortable working in an environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity

· Good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook with experience of using Applicant Tracking Systems

· Highly organised with excellent planning skills

· Ability to prioritise effectively

· Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload in a fast-paced environment

In addition, the following are highly desirable:

· Experience of sourcing for technical roles is not essential although a basic technical understanding would be advantageous

· Experience of working in an Information Technology driven business of similar size

· HRM qualification or equivalent
