Job Description: Manager R&D

1.Definition: Responsible for leading and conducting R&D activities for the development of new products and improvement in existing products and transferring results.

2.Key Role: Work in a team environment as R & D personnel to develop new products defined by Company Management with the help of the Design Team, sourcing team, and management within a predefined time frame and budget.

3. Responsibilities:

· Lead Key projects of R&D and supported business goals defined by management.

· Develop Parts of a new product with the help of sourcing, vendor development team, the design team

· Develop Technical documents for the new Parts / new Products.

· Produce and test Prototypes of a new product.

· Plan, schedule, and coordinate with resources to prepare documentation.

· Solve/resolve engineering problems, develop during new development work, and keep records of the same for future reference.

· Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers.

· Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Operations and Management.

· Research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment for new products.

· Suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development.

· Establish testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

4. Basic Skill Require:

· Computer proficiency.

· Good Communication skills at all levels.

· Good Analytical ability.

· Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.

· Multi Tasking skills.

· Planning and prioritizing activities of new development.
