  • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Should have hands on experience on analytical instruments including HPLC, Prep HPLC, LCMS, UPLC and Flash chromatography.
  • Should have hands on experience in development and validation of HPLC methods.
  • Should have knowledge in preparing SOP, IOPs and routine calibration and documentation of HPLC, LCMS, GC and other analytical instruments.
  • Should have knowledge in Raw Materials, Intermediates and finished product testing, release and documentation.
  • To develop method and to determine the purity of the organic compounds by HPLC , LCMS.
  • Initially to develop the method on a analytical scale for the separation of organic compounds and to purity by preparative scale to get pure desired compound
  • To identify the mass of the given organic compound by LCMS
  • Scouting, analysing, processing, reporting of the compounds in the appropriate format
  • Able to take up purification by Preparative HPLC to arrive at a pure desired compounds
  • Will be able to do the calibrations of all the instrumental techniques and to record
  • Able to analyse the solvents for the parameters like density, non-volatile matter and purity
  • To understand the separation and to check the purity of the compound, clarify with the processing and integration by HPLC and by LCMS for identification.
  • Conducting literature search for the latest methods and validation for the similar compounds.
  • Communicate experimental outcome and provide routine updates to the reporting manager on status of the work plan for further modifications if required.
  • Coordination and Cooperation for arriving at a confirmed methods for the purification and identification.
  • Structural elucidation for the compound for multiple stages of experiments.
  • To adhere to safety rules and regulations and to implement Good laboratory practices


Desired Candidate Profile


  • Should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience using the Analytical Instruments which includes HPLC/UPLC, Prep HPLC, LCMS
  • analyse samples from various sources to provide information on compounds or quantities of compounds present
  • interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
  • report scientific results in a structured manner
  • develop techniques for the analysis of drug products and chemicals
  • work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • liaise with customers, staff and suppliers
  • be aware of, and keep up to date with, health and safety issues
  • validate methods and equipment
  • Good Oral & Written communication skills
