Job Description

Role Purpose
  • Able to end to end planning of components. Scheduling of inter plant component (Bell, Tulip ), Scheduling to painting subcontractors.
  • Able to do Local scheduling & follow up
  • Effectively manage inventory.
  • Prepare MIS
  • Reconciliation of subcons
  • Lead CI activities
Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly Production plan based on MPS
  • Scheduling of forging suppliers
  • Scheduling of Turning & Painting subcontractors In line with Production schedules
  • Calculate & do Analysis of Capacities based on SIOP volumes
  • Scheduling for interplant material
  • Responsible for Export demand , Ensure 100% DSA ( Tulips & ACO)
  • Responsible for implementation of Lean & SCE excellence Enablers
  • Responsible for weekly schedules /Capacity planning
  • Meet DIO targets by Maintaining Optimum budgeted inventory
  • Perpetual stock counting , Ensure zero variance in Mfg vs Actual stocks
  • Control Mfg pro negative (< 10) , Process adherence
  • Prepare MIS related to SCM ( DIO Report , Weekly MPS for plant)
  • Kanban implementation
  • Lead traceability Related activities from SCM
  • Implement improvements to Stream line Physical Flow & Inventory
  • SCM Lead for NPD – Inputs regarding Packaging Std , Workflow , co-ordinate with other members for inputs related to SCM activities
Qualification And Skills

Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering

Must have 9 + years of Experience in PPC + Vendor scheduling

Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge And Skills Required
  • Good interpersonal skill and team player.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must have good organisational skills and be a self-starter.
  • Knowledge of LEAN Mfg
  • Working knowledge of ERP
  • Good Skills in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of FIFO & MRP
  • Understanding of Inventory Management
  • Hands on experience of KANBAN implementation
