Responsibilities
Initiate goal deployment process in the organization at the beginning of the financial year
Collect business goals for the year and finalize functional goals through goal cascading exercise, functional goals would be KRA for the HODs
Facilitate preparation of the goal sheet for each role by the HODs of all the departments
Compile baseline data for the KPIs for all the functions and get confirmation on baseline from respective HODs
Facilitate and ensure one-to-one discussion of each employee and reporting Manager for agreement on KPIs, weightage and targets
Collect all finalized & agreed goal sheets and maintain in database
Collate function wise KPIs and define a process to get monthly/quarterly actual performance
Collect monthly/quarterly actual performance data for all the functions and maintain function wise actual KPIs file updated
Set deadline for half-yearly performance review, communicate the deadline to all & ensure timely completion of the half-yearly review
Facilitate discussions and improvement plans between employees and their reporting Manager
Collect appraisal review forms, approved by the department HOD and maintain in database
At the end of the year, set deadline for annual appraisal, communicate deadline to all; ensure employees do their self-appraisal, reporting Managers review the performance and rates the employee objectively using KPI data base
Facilitate meetings between employees & their reporting Managers, facilitate open discussions on ratings provided by Managers on agreed KPIs & areas of development, address points of disagreement and get the final ratings reviewed & approved by the HODs
Collect and collate all final appraisal review forms of the year and update in the database
Conduct normalization activities as per the mandate given by management and arrive at final rating for each employee. Prepare for moderation session with top management on ratings and recommendations on promotion
Calculate bonus and annual increment as decided by the top management for the year for different levels of roles
Draft Appraisal Letters for the employees, get approval from management and handover the Appraisal Letters to the employees as per timeline
Competencies Good leadership and motivational skills
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Understanding of various roles in an organization
Understanding of KPIs for various functions in an organization
Knowledge Labor Law, Industrial Law, Minimum wages
