1. Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

2. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

3. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

4. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.

5. Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

6. Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.

7. Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.

8. Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.

9. Secures financial information by completing database backups.

10. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

11. Detail oriented and highly organized

12. Working knowledge of business and data intelligence software

13. Reviews financial reports to find ways to reduce costs.

14. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

15. Maintains databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

16. Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.

17. Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.

18. Prepare internal financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including footnote and financial table preparation in US GAAP

19. Monitor and assess the impact of business process changes on the control environment, identify new risk areas and implement appropriate changes to the SOX compliance program

20. Track and assess new regulatory changes, to assess SOX impact and ensure ongoing compliance

21. Partner with assigned business units, IT and control owners to provide guidance around compliance and implementation of controls

22. Supervise all Accounting Associates, manage their capacity and workload allocation, hold them accountable, and provide training and development

23. Ensure timeliness, quality, completeness of all financial and accounting transactions and reporting

24. Provide cash flow planning, analysis, projects budgeting and analysis

25. Coordinate and manage all tax return data, information, and collation

26. Oversee office cost allocation processes

27. Manage group’s staff and delicate engagements accordingly to ensure the staff’s performance is meeting the firm’s standards
