SUMMARY:

An exciting and challenging position exists as a Senior Advertising Operations Developerin DFO Global Performance Commerce. Reporting to our Chief Growth Officer, you will be responsible for developing and managing technical solutions as relating to the creation of automation tools, conducting web-based tracking setups, and troubleshooting the various offers in our performance marketing networks.


This is a role that requires a patient and quick mind, great teamwork abilities, technical problem-solving skills, and a keen sense of organization and workflow. This is a client-facing role, so patience and communication are important skills to have. The ideal candidate demonstrates and embodies a passion for marketing, e-commerce, automation, and learning. This is a REMOTE position.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing technical solutions and web applications with the focus on improving the efficiency and reliability of daily requests performed by the operations team
  • Managing and building new integrations between software and platforms that the operations team uses to provide its services (ex. Front, Slack, JIRA, Everflow, Zapier, etc.)
  • Setting up clients, offers, and marketing campaigns in our various systems and platforms
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting live campaigns on traffic sources such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, YouTube, Outbrain, Criteo and more
  • Coordinating with our global ad operations, product, sales, FE dev and analytics teams to launch new campaigns and/or optimize current ones
  • Assisting in minor Front-End changes for our various websites
  • Authoring and maintaining user-friendly documentation for team members and potential users
  • Training and mentoring fellow colleagues on technical solutions developed


YOUR SKILLS:

  • Marketing, Software Dev., and/or customer service experience, or related education
  • Experience in writing, integrating, and testing python scripts or web applications
  • Experience working with Web APIs
  • Knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager is an asset
  • Experience with Network-level Traffic Platforms (i.e. CAKE, Everflow, HasOffers, etc.) is an Asset
  • Ability to research and resolve moderately complex problems
  • You are performance-driven, want to take on a high level of responsibility, and work in a high paced, high-growth environment
