Minimum Qualification: MBA - Finance / CA

Prior Experience: Minimum 3 yrs. of equity research or credit rating experience in corporate or infrastructure sectors with a track record in research report publications

Location: Hyderabad

Salary Band: As per industry standards

Job Description:

The role of an Analyst is to arrive at a fair rating for a debt instrument or bank facility based on sound understanding the Industry and businesses, analyzing financial and non-financial information, evaluating the promoter and management team in line with laid down rating criteria. A Rating Analyst will be required to interact with Clients (Promoter or CXO levels), Bankers and Other lenders, Auditors (if required). A Rating Analyst will present and defend the rating recommendation at the Rating Committee comprising accomplished and learned senior ex-bankers.

NOTE: This position requires relevant experience. Applications without relevant experience will not be considered

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research for corporate sector or infrastructure sector and publish reports and articles independently to contribute to thought leadership
  • Independently handle rating assignments and client engagement
  • Deliver client and investor presentations

Desired Competencies:
  • Strong analytical understanding of corporate credit
  • Good presentation and report writing skills
  • Very strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A passion and strong aptitude for research
  • Ability to work under stretched timelines
