Job Description


ServiceNow Sr. Developer

  • ITIL Foundation certified
  • ServiceNow Developer certified (micro-certifications will be considered)
  • Demonstrate mastery of the ServiceNow environment and its many modules. (Orlando version or greater).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience configuring and enhancing all aspects of ServiceNow (Workflow, UI, client scripts, business rules, etc.) utilizing out-of-the-box functionality as much as possible and only customizing when necessary.
  • Experience creating, testing, and demonstrating Catalog Items and Record Producers based on user requirements.
  • Identify system deficiencies, recommend solutions, and provide continual service improvements
  • ServiceNow Modules, JavaScript, Web services, REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, Workflows, UI Pages (Glide scripts), UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, Ajax Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules, Migration skills.
  • Proven track record in developing ServiceNow solutions and designing web-based solutions.
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Admin is a plus.
  • Experienced in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including customer requirement analysis and system design. Agile development practice knowledge required.
  • Software development language experience (C#, Node.js, Java, JavaScript) a plus.
  • Work with the Process Engineering and Project Management teams and provide guidance/mentorship to the development team to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business requirements.
  • Help foster a collaborative environment between developers, raising the skill levels of all team members.
  • Influence decision-making with respect to the best practices for proposed solutions.
  • Influence the team by leading with new ideas, technologies, and development practices.
  • Experience with integrations with ServiceNow and 3rd-party systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional requirements-gathering skills.
  • 2 years of experience working with Performance Analytics a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience building PA solutions based on business requirements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Indicators, Formulas, Widgets, Targets, and Thresholds.
  • Demonstrated ability to create dashboards with elements from both Reports and PA modules.
