You will join our Transportdepartment

As our new Senior Design Engineer Geotechnical you will be part of the team within REC is expected to initialize and establish sound collaboration with Ramboll Sweden counterparts and support them with external job responsibilities and development assignments.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Data compilation
• Verification of design parameters
• Guiding juniors with design reports, calculations, and basics of Geotech
• Assisting senior with automation of processes by writing scripts, Mathcad, excel sheets etc.
• Delivering as per required quality standards
• Adhering to ISO quality procedures
• Ensuring project delivery in line with project requirements and client expectations
• Driven by creating new business opportunities
• Responsibility for projects coordination and managing small projects/teams
• Lead and develop best practice for the team.

• Hands on experience in data compilation of site data
• Has good technical knowledge
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
• Hand on experience in PLAXIS, RocScience, SEEP W, SLOPE W etc.
• Experience of management / project management
• Good programming and automations skills in Python, Matlab etc.
• Should be a team player
• Good communication skills
• Shows interest in learning new things and adjusts to new ways of working
• Should be cooperative, positive, and result-oriented
• Required - WALLAP, PLAXIS (2D/3D), RocScience (RocPlane, Swedge, Unwedge), Mathcad, Matlab
