Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience and a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, coupled with hands-on experience across a range of AWS services and tools.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement and manage configuration management solutions using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automating server configuration and management.
• Monitor and analyze system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch, and implement appropriate measures for optimization.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, including IAM policies, encryption methods, and network security configurations.
• Configure and manage AWS networking services such as VPC, Route 53, and Security Groups, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
• Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions using AWS services like Multi-AZ deployments, Load Balancers, and Database Replication.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, ECS, EKS, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and experience configuring and managing AWS networking services.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolution.
