About the Role

This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced DevOps engineer to progress their career goals being a key player within this diverse and entrepreneurial team.

Your key responsibility will be to provide first class support working within our DevOps team taking ownership of customer installations, regular maintenance, upgrades, and support tasks. You will be expected to have high service standards and provide a ‘yes we can’ approach at all times. We would also expect you to be of a skill and experience level to mentor more junior members of the existing team and to even grow a team around you in the coming years.

You can be based remotely or within commutable distance of our Bangalore office.

The role is generally 9-5 during the UK day in nature, however there will be the requirement for some out of hours / weekend support for which time off in lieu or financial recompense will be arranged.

About You

You will be ready for a flexible working environment and will have the following skills / qualities:

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience primarily in DevOps, Cloud & Containerization.

• 2-3 years of experience administering Kubernetes, and understanding of manifest management with Helm

• 4-5 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools e.g. Jenkins/ Bamboo/Teamcity is necessary.

• 4-5 years of experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet. Strong preference

for Puppet.

• Strong experience with automating multiple systems using Bash, and languages such as Python, and Go

• Extensive experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuration public and hybrid cloud(AWS certified will

be an added advantage).

• Hands-on experience working with Git, Code Commit, Code pipeline, Code deploy code build

• Strong experience with Docker, Docker Swarm and clustering,

• Ability to architect and implement end-to-end container management using Kubernetes

• Configuration of CICD pipelines and support/resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevOps practices

as part of a CICD implementation

• Recommend and implement automated means that will improve the performance and reliability of the system

• Hands-on experience with designing, building and managing release systems, code merging a promotion, and

CI/CD workflows and tools.

• Experience with monitoring and log aggregation frameworks (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus,

Zabbix Nagios) or other such tools.

• Proficiency in coding/scripting using Shell (highly preferred) and Python

• Strong knowledge in Apache, PHP WHM

• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Networking.

• Creative problem-solving, proficient debugging and profiling.
