We are seeking a Senior Software (Embedded) Engineer who will be responsible for the application of firmware and embedded application development skills to provide design, development, and maintenance for our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Team Leading & Development planing
  • Developing, troubleshooting hardware, debug firmware and optimize performance
  • Ability to communicate hardware & software concepts
  • Create and execute test plans for verifying design performance to specification
  • Debug problems as they arise during verification and validation
  • In house as well as field Testing of newly developed firmware
  • Document all design specifications, bug tracking and version control

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in C/C++.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with ARM processors.
  • Proficiency with hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, RS485, JTAG, USB.
  • Knowledge in industrial IoT
  • Implementation OF CAN protocol is a must.
  • Peripheral interfacing like Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/GPRS modems
  • Expertise with RTOS and multitasking is required, FreeRTOS is preferred.
  • Experience with version control.
  • Working knowledge of video interfaces and familiarity working with products such as Displays, ADC, DACS and other peripheral devices is desirable.
  • Experience in Electric Vehicle Domain is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience and familiarity with bug tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of AWS IoT core & other MQTT brokers is preferred.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • B.tech/M.tech in EC/EE/CS or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 2 to 5 years of embedded experience.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.
