Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End & UI / UX Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You have to fill the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Primary Job Role

* Help brainstorm future ideas and explore the viability of these ideas through mockups and pitches
* Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
* Construct interactive prototypes for web/mobile applications
* Work with development teams and higher management to ideate software solutions
* Design Client-side architectures using Adobe XD or Invision
* Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
* Understand and comfortable working with APIs
* Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
* Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
* Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
* Write technical documentation
* Able to diagnose and resolve complex technical faults
* Taking the lead on own assignments as well as in team assignments
* Excellent communication with all applicable stakeholders

Qualifications

* A degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent along with hands-on industry exposure (3+ years)
* Proven experience in WordPress Themes Customization.
* Experience in optimising page load times, minification techniques, optimizing CSS/JS, loading DOM elements asynchronously, and partial page updates through AJAX
* A thorough and deep understanding of all major front-end frontend framework such as Vue Js / Angular / React JS / Bootstrap
* General competence at debugging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
* Knowledge of WEB API, encryption, and IT Security
* Web Application Debugging and error tracking knowledge
* Experience of working as part of a distributed team following structured DevOps processes, with a thorough understanding of version control (Git/Bitbucket) including branching, committing, and merging
* Experience in cross-browser testing/debugging and able to test own work extensively, and document own work for scenario-based testing by others
* Knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce is a MUST
* Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an added advantage
