Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instrumentation and control systems, with Engineer support
  • Design automation systems, with Engineer support
  • Prepare instrument and control system lay out dwgs, installation diagrams, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, specification sheets, panel lay outs, instrument index, cause & Effect matrixes etc, with Engineer support.
  • Specify instrument and final control devices, with Engineer support.
  • Develop control strategies and control narratives, with Engineer support.
  • Prepare network diagrams, with Engineer support.
  • Working knowledge and good understanding of Electrical Code and standards such as OESC, CEC, CSA and IEEE
  • Create dwgs based on sketches, templates or previous designs.
  • Perform routine material take offs (MTO)
  • Work with multi-discipline professionals and successfully cooperate within the project team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of relevant instrumentation and control experience
  • Expert knowledge of AUTOCAD
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal Skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and company standard practices
  • Capable of working on several projects at the same time, with projects at different stages.
  • Fluent in English

Autodesk AutoCAD, Communication Skills, Instrumentation Controls, Layout and Design, Microsoft Office, Plant Instrumentation
