Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/or in progress in Information Technology (computer science or related field / MCA)
  • 3-5 years of hands on experience in Information Technology - user and infrastructure support
  • Hands on experience in VoIP and HDVC user and infrastructure support, preferably in the area of Avaya (VoIP) and Polycom (VC) products
  • Experience in automation, Database, Scripting skills
  • Knowledge in AWS Cloud
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid sense for operational priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and in project teams in a remote team setting

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll work in our Gurgaon office as part of our Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS) organization. You will be part of MIS team which focuses on providing 24/7 engineering services that deliver critical business infrastructure services to the Firm with unparalleled reliability, security, and efficiency.
You’ll be part of our MIS VoIP and Video team in our location in Gurgaon, India. You will be part of MIS VoIP and Video team who is responsible for all aspects of Video and VoIP support across the whole range of hardware deployed in McKinsey. As a Senior IT Operations Specialist for MIS VoIP and Video team, you will closely collaborate with other internal IT support groups, external vendors, and McKinsey’s development teams.

What You’ll Do

You will provide support to end-users on the full spectrum of VoIP, Video, and Zoom requests including answering "how-to" questions, conducting live troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
You will oversee and manage changes to the global VoIP and Video infrastructure; including software, firmware, patch upgrades, and monthly reboots. You will maintain up-to-date administration and troubleshooting procedures, location-specific knowledge as well as configuration best practices for all systems. You will contribute to knowledge building and problem prevention by developing and documenting best practices for reoccurring problems and by providing training for other team members
You will collaborate and actively manage external service providers/vendors in order to achieve and maintain excellent service levels.
