Job Description

  • Undertake design responsibilities for existing products and actively support the design and development of new OEM applications.
  • Offer technical support to various departments, including Operations, Sales, Service, and Quality.
  • Maintain design documentation in accordance with internal ISO 9001 procedures and external regulations.
  • Review and implement Engineering Change requests.
  • Provide design support to Sales/Marketing in pursuing new customer opportunities.
  • Extend design support to the Research and Development (R&D) team in the development of various new products.
  • Offer sustaining engineering support for existing products, addressing issues related to component obsolescence and revisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, with a preference for a strong background in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in an ISO 9000 manufacturing environment, with specific expertise in metal fabrication and electro-mechanical assembly being advantageous.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CAD systems, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Show competence in using the Microsoft Office suite. Exhibit familiarity with electromechanical assembly.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding the interaction of systems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Possess outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Be a creative, resourceful self-starter who seizes opportunities to take ownership of projects and drive product/process improvements with minimal supervision.
  • Be detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to multitask and consistently follow through on tasks, assignments, and projects. Have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
