Aufgaben

We are seeking Microsoft Power BI developers who can assist business analysts in developing, maintaining, and supporting operational reports, dashboards, and scorecards solutions. Candidates must have strong communication skills that allow you to regularly deal with the business, as well as with specialists from related fields, including data engineers, data scientists, database developers, and software engineers.
  • Creation of dashboards, financial reports, real-time dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, presentations, and graphs.
  • Expert in publishing reports to app.powerbi.com and setting up the necessary connection details and scheduling.
  • Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for various business functions.
  • Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports to improve performance, usability, and data accuracy.
  • Create data models and develop data queries using Power Query (M) and DAX language to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Work with data engineers to integrate data from diverse sources, such as databases, APIs, and Excel spreadsheets, into the Power BI solution.
Profil
  • 3 - 7 years of proven experience in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service.
  • Good experience of Data Modelling in Power BI and/or SQL, Analysis Service
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M), and DAX language.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience working with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of data transformation, cleansing, and data preparation techniques.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
  • Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
  • Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passionate about designing easy to read, eye-friendly and understandable reports.
  • Knowledge on Azure is an added advantage.
