About the role

To design, build and support NWOW-Finance capabilities as a part of high performance software engineering team, delivering competitive advantage and enabling profitable growth, whilst managing the end-to-end development, delivery, technical design authority, integration requirements and lifecycle management of capabilities.

What you’ll work on

As a Senior Software Engineer, you thrive on understanding and translating customer needs into new products and capability. You apply deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions, to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints across the end-to-end software development life cycle. Your continuous learning and improvement mindset, collaboration and influencing skills are critical to success in this role.

Key accountabilities

• Design, build, test and support the NWOW-Finance capability.
• Contribute to development of a technology roadmaps that leverage opportunities from evolving and future technologies, whilst managing the capacity and deployment of the infrastructure to meet product growth
• Perform assessment of technology frameworks and integration products to meet demand of growing capability and scale.
• Develop solutions that are resilient, self-healing and Cloud Native.
• Complying with all relevant processes and standards, including change management principles and processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed defined quality standards.
• Develop own and peer’s skills and be a mentor to junior peers, to build T-shaped team.
• Identify and drive capability unit cost reduction opportunities through simplification, rationalisation and smart application of new technology.

Your skills & experience

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering majorly in application development
• Critical thinking mindset, strong sense of accountability for product delivery, passion to develop quality software
• Good communication skills, team player
• Strong hands on experience in design, development and test with SAP technologies.
• Programming languages: ABAP, S4 HANA
• Expertise in RICEFW and CDS.
• Strong In AIF configuration
• Should have extensively worked on ODATA, CDS views and AMDP
• Must have strong knowledge in Workflow
• Should have worked on Eclipse
• Strong OOPs knowledge
• SAP GATEWAY
• Experience with CDS view and consuming them on Fiori
• Knowledge of BOPF
