We are looking for a Microsoft Stack Senior Software Developer with strong MS-SQL skills. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining Web Applications, SQL Data Warehouse, Power BI dashboards/reports, MS Office 365 Portal, MS Azure Portal and ensuring their stability, reliability and performance.


Work timings - 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, flexibility is required as per business need.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain high quality data warehouse solutions.
  • Develop, implement and optimize queries, stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
  • Develop, implement automations using SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration between various systems.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with Legacy applications developed in Excel VBA.
  • Develop, maintain corporate website and client portal web app.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software/SQL Developer or similar role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming
  • Good working knowledge of cloud platforms such as MS Azure, AWS.
  • Understanding of reporting & data visualization tools such as Business Objects, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Good knowledge of Power BI Embedded and its implementation.
  • Good understating of Windows Server environment e.g. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Understanding of Virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper V.
  • Understanding of website scripts such as XML, JavaScript, JSON, Node JS.
  • Understanding of ETL framework and ETL tools such as Alteryx or Microsoft SSIS.
  • Good knowledge of ASP, ASP .NET, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic .NET, .NET.
  • Excellent Excel VBA programming knowledge.
