As a Senior SQL Database Administrator, you will work/manage all aspects of Database related projects/ad-hoc tasks/tickets and ensure that are completed on-time. You will also provide overall coordination and management of several smaller work streams aligned with R&D/POC and IT Operations.

You need to take the lead in developing and continually updating SOP’s, plans, and schedules. Coordinates with IT and project resources, as well as resources/skills required from across the entire MarketOne delivery organization.

Must Have: -

• A passion for helping people succeed with technology.
• Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or Business Administration.
• Requires 5-8 years of Database Administration/Management experience.
• Possesses strong knowledge of MSSQL, MS Access DB, and Azure DB.
• Proven working experience as a Database Administrator with Hands-on experience on database standards and end user applications.
• Excellent knowledge of database management, security, integrity, Developing/Managing SSIS packages and SQL.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding with programming languages API
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.
• Possesses strong Analytical, Communication, Problem-solving skills, and ability to think algorithmically.

Roles and Responsibilities: -

• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
• Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training.
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
• Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
• Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
