The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Works on designing , developing, enhancing & supporting product features & components.
• Actively participate in design,implementation, and/orcode reviews to ensure consistency with overall architecture, performance, scalability and interoperability considerations
• Good coding & analytical skills in order to add new or enhancing existing functionality.
• Analyze issues found in current product functionality & fix defects.
• Good collaboration skills to work in a high performing team environment.
• Work with agile product development methodologies.

Essential Requirements

• Hands-on programming building Enterprise Products using Java or Reactive Java or Vertx.io/ AJAX or JavaScript / Python / C++
• Experience in developing web UI using HTML5, CSS, JS framework like Angular, MVC framework
• Experience with cloud platforms or platform as a service such as Vmware vSphere, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure, AWS or other public cloud providers
• Experience working with one or more of the following: Postgres, Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB, SAP HANA
• Experience working with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Experience with distributed systems, and/or fault-tolerant system environments, NAS and SAN Storage domains
• Working knowledge of Maven, Eclipse, Visual Studio, GIT, Jira, Sonar
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; operates with agility and adapts to technologies and processes quickly
• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Requirements

• Self-motivated, approachable, and adaptable and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English
• Good understanding of Operating System concepts, Networking concepts, Data Structures.
• Experience with distributed technologies - observability ( Distributed tracing, Log aggregation, Metrics)
• Experience in maintaining Microservices and JSON RESTful APIs
• Exposure to Microservices Architecture with DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Engineering or equivalent
