Job Description

Must Have Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient at data visualization using Power BI and a strong application development.
• Expert in creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Table, Matrix, Pies, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc
• Expertise in creating efficient Data Model in Power BI
• Trouble shooting of performance issues which is associated with Power BI reports.
• Maintaining and supporting operational reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Microsoft Power BI
• Good experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations graphs.
• Expert knowledge using advanced calculations using MS Power BI Desktop (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table)
• Migrating Excel / SSRS reports to Power BI
• Optimize SQL Server queries to efficiently and quickly retrieve data
• Creating and maintaining reporting process using SSRS.
• Resolve IT and data issues of SQL Server
• Good experience on writing DAX in MS Power BI Desktop.
• Expert in publishing reports to app.powerbi.com and setting up the necessary connection details, access permissions and scheduling.
• Writing queries, functions, stored procedures in SQL Server.
• Troubleshooting performance issues and fine-tuning queries and stored procedures using SQL Server.
• Knowledge on SSAS is added advantage
• Experience in Visual Studio, Version / Source Control
