Job Description
As a Software Architect in Linux and Chrome Systems Engineering team you will be responsible for Architecting, influencing and driving adoption of Intel hardware to client based solutions. This include audio, media, graphics, display, virtualization and Container technologies on Chrome OS/Linux. Scope includes defining architecture and cultivating senior level relationships with platform architects, customers and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Also influencing the Security, IO devices, Media, Graphics and other technologies to drive architecture at system level for chrome/Linux based system starting from silicon level. You will also drive technical readiness, specification and high value proof of concept solutions for future roadmap intercept.


Qualifications

� Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics etc with 12+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience. Strong technical working experience on Linux OS � C, C++ development, configuration management and debug experience � Breadth of knowledge that spans across domains like media, display, graphics, IO devices, network, security etc. � Hands on working experience on AI/ML, virtualization, deep learning will be added advantage. � Experience or knowledge on chromium development is desirable. � Experience in System and performance tuning is added advantage � experience to prioritize, work cross-organizationally as part of a multi-site team, and provide concise lateral and upward status and communications to coordinate, influence, or raise issues to management and other architecture groups
