1. Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts of Mandi,
Kullu&Lahaul-Spitiin Himachal Pradesh from 06 Nov 2021 to 16 Nov 2021 at Paddal
Ground, Mandi (HP)/ Kullu/ Lahaul-Spiti for Soldier (General Duty), Soldier
Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (SKT) and SepoyPharma.Online registration is
mandatory and will be open from 15 Jul 2021 to 28 Aug 2021.Candidates are
permitted to register and participate in one category only in a recruiting year cycle i.e
from 01 Apr to 31 Mar. Admit cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail one

week before the date of commencement of recruitment rally. Candidates should reach the
venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.

2. Army Recruitment Rally forSoldier Tradesmen category will be held for eligible

candidates of districts of Mandi, Kullu&Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh from 02 Mar 2022
to 14 Mar 2022 at Rampur/ Junga/ Solan/ Poanta Sahib, Shimla (HP).Online registration
is mandatory and will be open from 15 Jul 2021 to 28 Aug 2021.Candidates are
permitted to register and participate in one category only in a recruiting year cycle i.e
from 01 Apr to 31 Mar. Admit cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail one
week before the date of commencement of recruitment rally. Candidates should reach the
venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.

Note : The venue and date of Rally is tentative and likely to change.

@Note- Relaxation in Physical Standards is either for wards of servicemen/ex-

servicemen or sportsmen (not both) and is in addition to the special physical

standards. Relaxation for outstanding sportsmen will be granted only if sports

certificate duly verified by authorised sports federation and countersigned by

Youth Services and Sports, Shimla (HP) is produced at rally site.

Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)
Physical measurements will be carried out as per the Physical standards listed at Para
2 above.

Medical Test

(a) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site.

(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/CH/BHfor specialist review. Candidates
referred for specialist review should present themselves to the MH/CH/BH on 5th day
from date of generation of Medical Review barring Sundays /Closed Holidays and
report back to ARO for issue of Admit card for CEE in case declared FIT.

Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE)

(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue.
Location,date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through admit
cards for CEE.

(b) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site
itself.

(c) Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases of Sol GD, Sol Clk/SKT and
Sep Pharma category will be issued at ARO, Mandiafter getting medically fit by
concerned specialist/ specialists at CH (WC) Chandimandirby ARO Mandi(HP).

(d) Admit Card for the CEE for Review Fit Cases of Sol Tradesmen category will
be issued at ARO, Shimla after getting medically fit by concerned specialist/
specialists at MH/CH/BH.

5. Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificates in original with
two self attested photocopies with them to the rally site:-

(a) Admit Card.Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not
shrink the size of Admit Card).

(b) Photograph.20 x copies of recent Passport size (3.5cm width &4.5cm height)
colour photographs (with proper hair cut without beard (except SIKH
candidates))developed on good quality photographic paper in white background
not more than three months old with Name and date of birth printed on Photographs.
Computer printouts/ photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted. SIKH and
SIKH (M&R) candidates photographs should be with Turban/ Patka.

(c) EducationCertificates

(i) Education certificates with Mark sheets in original of all educational
qualification achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate/ Graduation etc
from recognized School/ College/ Board/ University.

(ii) Provisional/ online education certificate should be certified ink signed
by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board/ University.

(iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should
bringSchool LeavingCertificate / Transfer Certificate of last class attended in
regular school duly signed by Principal and countersigned by DEO/BEO.
Candidates without Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate will not be
permitted to participate in the Recruitment Rally.

(d) Domicile/ HimachaliBonafideCertificate. Domicile/ Resident certificate
signed and issued recently (within last one year) by SDM/ Tehsildar which is
verifiable on concerned website of state Government (as given below) is required to
be produced by the candidate:-

(e) Caste/Dogra Class Certificate.

(i) Caste Certificate and class certificate affixed with photograph of the
candidate duly signed and issued recently (within last one year) by
SDM/Tehsildar / NaibTehsildar. Candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC to be
mentioned adequately.

(ii) Sikh & Sikh (Majahabi&Ramadasia) candidates will produce
Religion/Minority/Caste of their father duly signed and issued by
Tehsildar/SDM and SC/ST certificate will also be deposited.

(iii) Gorkha candidates are required to produce caste certificate signed and
issued by SDM / Tehsildar / NaibTehsildaralongwith sub caste certificate
issued by Indian Gorkha Association.

(f) Religion Certificate. Religion certificate issued by the Tehsildar / SDM (if
religion such as “SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste
certificate).

(g) School/College Character Certificate. CharacterCertificate issued by the

Principal/Headmaster of the College/School, where the candidate last studied.

(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photographs issued by
Village Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.

(j) Unmarried Certificate.Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21

years of age with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation
within last six months.

(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW candidates are required

to produce the following documents:-

(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly
endorsed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and
particular of the Record Officer issuing the relationship certificate with office
seal/stamp.

(ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on 10/- Rupees
Non-Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st
Class/Executive/Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the
candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit attached as per Appendix
‘A’.Candidates are liable to be rejected for improper Affidavit.

(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Servicemen to be produced. Name and
date of Birth of the candidate must be recorded in it.

(l) NCC Certificate.NCC A / B / C certificate and Republic Day Parade certificate

should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing auth. Provisional
NCC A / B / C pass certificate will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned
NCC Group Commander.

(m) Sports Certificate. The Sports certificate issued by authorised sports
federations and countersigned by Youth Services and Sports, Shimla (HP) are valid
for three years from the issue date as on first day of the recruitment rally, for which
the candidate is being screened. Sports certificates should be with registration
number and authorised sports federations for issue of ibid certificate are as follows:-

or any other certificates to claim Bonus Marks/ Relaxation would be accepted after
termination of the rally, and only at rally site.

(o) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidates on Rs10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper
as per specimen given at Appendix ‘B’&Appendix ‘C’duly attested by notary will be
submitted by all candidates. For ESM candidates, this Affidavit will be in addition to
Affidavit given at Para 5 (k) (ii) (Appendix ‘A’) of Rally Notification.

(p) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card and AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN
Card & AADHAR Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of
Pay & Allowance and other social benefits scheme.

6. Special Instructions.

(a) NCC Certificates.

(i) NCC ‘C’ certificate - Sol GD candidates are exempted from CEE.

(ii) NCC’C’ certificates and - CEE exempted for all candidates.

(iii) Candidates who are holder of NCC ‘C’ certificates and have participated
in Annual Republic Day Parade camp will be treated at par with those
candidates who have participated in Republic Day contingent Parade at Delhi.

(iv) NCC A/ B/ C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should have
photograph of the candidates duly attested by issuing authority Provisional NCC
A/ B/ C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned
NCC Group Commanders and only at Rally Site.

(b) Producing of fake certificate will be dealt severely.

(c) Candidates are allowed to participate in one category only in any
recruitment rally conducted in a recruiting year ( i.e 01 April to 31 March) by
AROs for every district based on a Nativity/ Domicile certificate(Eg if candidate
is participating in Sol Tech then he shall not be eligible to participate in Sol
(GD), Sol Clk/SKT, Sep Pharma and for Sol Tradesmen). If it is found that
candidates have participated in another recruitment rally in the same
recruiting year, then the candidature of the candidates will be cancelled and
will be dismissed from service.

(d) Suggestion and complaint on recruitment can be submitted in writing by
candidates through suggestion box held with Grievance Cell at rally site / Army
Recruiting Office, Mandi (HP) for Sol GD, Sol Clk/SKT & Sep Pharma category
and ARO, Shimla for Sol Tradesmen category.

(e) Candidates found using unfair means will be disqualified and punitive action
will be taken against them. FIR will be lodged against candidates caught using unfair
means at any stage.

(f) Recruitment is purely based on merit depending on available vacancies.
Candidates do not have any right to claim on recruitment in Army just by passing the
recruitment tests.

(g) Candidate will report at 04.00 AMat entry gate of rally ground on the days of
the rally. GATE WOULD CLOSE AT 08:00 AMEVERYDAY.

(h) Documents required for Pre-height check to participate in recruitment
rally :-

(i) Admit card as per para 5(a).

(ii) Dogra class/ Gorkha/ST-Lahaul&spiti cert as per para 5 (e).

(j)Documents required for Pre-document check to participate in
recruitment rally:-

(i) Admit Card as per Para 5 (a).

(ii) Domicile Certificate as per Para 5 (d).

(iii) Character Certificate as per Para 5 (h).

(iv) 10th / 12th Mark Sheet as per Para 5 (c)(i).

(v) School leaving certificate is compulsory for open school/NIOS
candidates as per Para 5 (c) (iii).

(vi) Affidavit as per Para 5 (o) (Format given as per Appendix ‘B’).

(vii) Indemnity Bond as per Para 5 (o) (Format given as per Appendix ‘C’).

(viii) Medical Certificate as per Para 5(q) (Format given as per

Appendix ‘E’).

(k) Candidate will not get entry without documents mentioned at Para 6 (j) above
and he will be rejected at the time of pre document checking itself.

(l) Use of Mobile phone and recording of procedure is NOT allowed inside

the Rally site & Written Exam premises.

(m) Married candidates below 21 Yrs of age are not eligible for enrolment into the
Army.

(n) Candidates/ Father/ Mother/ relative of candidate will not have any rights for
claiming compensation or to hold Indian Govt/ Indian Army responsible for any injury,
death, disease or disability suffered during the various physical tests undergone by
the candidate at the time of recruitment. All candidates will be appearing for various
tests in their own interests and risk.

(o) Candidates not in possession of requisite certificates are liable for rejection.

(p) Candidates will not be permitted to leave the rally ground once allowed to
enter, so they are advised to bring their own refreshments as required.

(q) WARINING

(i) Beware of touts and antisocial elements. Toutscannotget you recruited

in Indian Army. Do not waste your money on touts. Recruitment process is
transparent and has been computerized. Touts cannot do anything. Have faith
on your hard work.

(ii) Producing fake documents & giving false information will liable you for

terminating your service in spite of any number of years service you may
render.

No Bonus marks are applicable to Sep Pharma category. 

Bonus marks will be accorded only on qualifying in the written examination. 

Only one ward of SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW can avail bonus marks in written
examination. 

Relaxation and bonus marks will be permissible and allotted onlyon production and
deposition of original certificatesat the rally site. In case of certificates not being verified
on timeBonus Marks will not be allotted and the responsibility will not rest with
therecruitment / Army authorities.

Maximum bonus marks that can be given is 20 marks even if a candidate qualifies for
more than one type of bonus marks.

Validity period of sports certificate will be within three years on the date of screening.

Important Instructions.

7. Administration. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking
water with them since recruitment is a time consuming process.

8. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on producing Admit Card in
duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone
found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.

9. Recruitment into the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay
bribe to anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during
recruitment at all stages is computerized and transparent. Therefore, candidates are
advised to beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.

10. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating in
the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting education criteria will be
disqualified.

11. Giving/ Taking bribe, production of bogus/ fake certificates, impersonation and
indulging in unfair means is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law.

12. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing / alteration of any type will
not be accepted.

13. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies
before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting
fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are
found to have produced fake documents or given wrong information at the time of
recruitment, despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered.

14. No compensation will be providing by Army for Death / injury / loss etc during the
rally and no Travelling Allowance/Dearness Allowancefor the journey is admissible.
Candidates will participate in the rally at their own risk and the participation is totally and
entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.

15. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs.Use of any kind of performance enhancing
drugs is strictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the same will be
debarred from further screening.

16. Tattoo.Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from
inside of elbow to thewrist and on the reverse side of palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand.
Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates
will be barred from further selection. However, candidates belonging to tribal communities /
from tribal areas as declared by the Govt of India Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
Orders Act/ Lists (amended and modified from time to time) are permitted to have
permanent body tattoos on any part of the body, as per existing customs and traditions of
the said tribe to which a candidate belongs. Such candidates will only be permitted on
producing a certificate as per format attached at Appendix ‘D’ duly signed by DC/DM/SDM
of the District/ Tehsil where the tribe of the candidate is presently settled or Chairman/
Secretary/ any other senior member of the Tribe.

17. If number of days between screening medical date at the rally site and
dispatch date is more than 180 days then medical will be done once again and if
candidates are found UNFIT in review medical, they will not be recruited.

18. In case during the dispatch, some sickness or a disability parameter comes to
notice at ARO, the same will be examined by Recruiting Medical Officer, Senior
Recruiting Medical Officer and Medical Specialist, if required. If the candidates are
found UNFIT during review medical, they will not be recruited. Opinion of the
specialist is final and no further medical review is permitted.

19. There is no provision in the Army recruitment process to consider the reports
of civil doctors/ hospital to determine fitness of a candidate for enrollment into Indian
Army.

20. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are
dispatched for training.

21 Mobile phones or any such communication devices are not permitted in the rally site
and at the time of CEE.

22. Candidates have to report for rally with short haircutand not to indulge in any
malpractice during rally. Any candidates found to use malpractice will be rejected and
handed over to State Police department.

23. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming
for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical
measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it
cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.

24. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for three to four days.
Candidates should make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.

25. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.

26. In accordance with the COVID-19 safety guidelines the following procedure will be
followed during the Recruitment Rally:-

(a) All candidates must download AarogyaSetu app on their mobile devices and
update their health status.

(b) All candidates should bring a negative RT-PCR test report done within 72h.

(or)

COVID-19 vaccination certificate (at least 01 dose).

(c) All candidates to produce a COVID-19 Free/ Asymptomatic certificate when
they report for the rally. Format attach as Appendix ‘E’.

(d) All candidates will be thermally screened at the rally site. Candidates having
high temperature/ flu like illness (Fever, Cough & sneezing) will be directed to report
again on a designated day earmarked by Headquarter Recruiting Zone for all such
cases. If the candidate is again having symptom he will not be allowed to participate
in the rally.

(e) Use of face mask/ cover is mandatory.

(f) Every candidate should cover his mouth/ nose while coughing/ sneezing with
handkerchief/ flexed elbow and dispose off used tissues in COVID dustbins.

(g) Physical distancing of at least 02 meter (2 gajkidoori) to be followed at all
times.

(h) Spitting shall be strictly prohibited.

(j) All ground staff will be well equipped with PPE kit and take COVID
appropriate precautions.

(k) Daily sanitization/ disinfection of the premises of rally ground.

(l) Foot operated dustbins with lid to be used for waste disposal.

27. Result of written examination will be declared on the official website
www.joinindianarmy.nic.inand displayed at Notice Board of ARO Mandi (HP). No

separate letter will be sent to the candidates. It is the responsibility of candidate to check
his result and report to ARO for documentation.
