Solution Architect, Energy Services and Digitalization

Responsibilities:

• Identifies and defines technical requirements for solutions.

• Evaluates different concepts with respect to technological and commercial aspects.

• Thought leadership on creating a scalable architecture for the overall digitalization strategy

• Help enhance existing products with increased adoption of AI/ML, computational analytics, simulations, and digital twins

• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads

• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.

• Ensuring the environment meets security and compliance controls

• Working in a diverse multi time-zone environment

• Cooperates with customers in assessing and optimizing solution specifications.

• Provides feedback to involved development engineers and teams.

• Create detailed product requirements via building a deep understanding of the customer needs, analyzing processes, and working closely with subject matter experts in all levels of our business

• Build product roadmaps in-line with overall business strategy and articulate those roadmaps to the development teams and other stakeholders

• Provide tactical direction to the agile design/development teams throughout the sprint lifecycle

• Review of design and development to ensure delivery of the acceptance criteria

• Work collaboratively with sales, operations, marketing, and legal to develop solid release/roll-out plans

• Build, track and report product KPIs

• Contribute to developing and deploying onboarding process for new customers

• Influence internal behavior cross-functionally to get buy-in for onboarding initiatives.

• Partner closely with our Product Owners and Product Managers to solidify and execute customer deployment strategy based on customer goals and KPIs.

• Monitor new customer performance and address any open issues to ensure timely resolution and great customer experience.

• Work closely with the product and engineering team to influence new product features and functionality based on customer feedback.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science or engineering

• Minimum of 15 years of experience

• Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders in client organization.

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Experience on building scalable and performant production systems

• Understands architectural concepts for distributed systems and cloud technologies

• Knowledge of energy services and utilities domain

• A proven track record of delivering projects/products on-time and within budget

• Knowledge of Agile processes and principles

• Experience using the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Advanced roadmaps)

• Experience reviewing design documentation, such as wireframes, interaction flows and VD specs

• Sharp analytical mind and problem-solving skills

• Detailed orientated, but able to move at pace

• Good communication and leadership skills

• A collaborative team player
