SOM - Test Automation Architect

Position Description:

ProfileJD/ Position – Test Automation Architect
Location – Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai
Shift timings – 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Exp: - min 8-10 years

 Should have minimum 8-10 years of relevant testing experience
 Hands-on experience in Automation using Robot Framework and associated libraries
 Assessment of the current state of Automation and recommend Automation plan and Roadmap using Robot Framework
 Design and develop Proof-of-Concepts, demo to all stakeholders and implement automation solution, modular and keyword-driven scripts and libraries using Robot Framework
 Assessing gaps in Automated test scripts, provide guidance to team members in fixing design and script issues 
Technically lead the team and mentored team to ensure on-time delivery with high quality 
Experience being in several leadership roles and interfacing with multiple stake holders, offshore and at client locations
 Identifying and recommending the automated testing processes and tools
 Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple open source / commercial tools for UI / Web service automation ( Selenium, Robot Framework, PostMan, SoapUI ) and Mobile test automation ( Appium CrossBrowserTesting / Browser Tools) and visual comparison testing ( AppliTools)
 Hands-on QA Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain hybrid Test automation frameworks
 Sound understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies, concepts, CI/CD implementation
 Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
 Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across project teams
 Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach across project teams
 Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams
 Participate in Design and Architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams
 Evaluate and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
 Assist engineering management team with the technical presentation of proposed automation solutions
