Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Internal and External links and management

  • Lead the SQA in Sricity plant, Coordinating with Central SPQD and managing the Quality of the parts supplied by suppliers
  • Interaction with Manufacturing, sourcing and SCM team in the plant on issue resolution
  • coordination of development of non SPL parts in coordination with sourcing

Purpose of the Job: Work closely with site manufacturing, SCM, Sourcing and SPQD functions on quality Management of suppliers to ensure defect free parts to manufacturing.


Organization Structure : The SQM Manager will report hierarchically to Site Quality Director and functionally to SPQD Director


Mission & Responsibility


Objectives & Responsibilities : Lead the SQA team and manages the Supplier Quality Assurance:

  • Animate NCR treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Supplier NCR target.
  • Control the Non-conformity management by his team.
  • Insure reactivity of his team to inform supplier of NCR, to replace defective parts and to implement securization within supplier process.
  • Assure the Invoicing of the Cost Of Non-Quality (CONQ S1) to the suppliers.
  • Prepare and monitor supplier Quality review at unit level to shoot the Top issues.
  • Ensure the strong integration of Return of Experience (REX) to the SPQD teams for next projects.
  • Working with the team to follow-up on action plan to improve KPIs
  • Strong team management to have motivated SQA team in the site

  • Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical…) or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in Engineering/ Industrial function having experience in Supplier Quality Assurance /

  • Skill Set Requirement for SQA Manager.

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing process
  • Problem solving methodology
  • Knowledge on SPC & MSA
  • Presentation Skills
  • Leadership Skills
  • Teamwork and Customer oriented
  • 6 Sigma green belt preferred
  • Expertise in SAP GSI QM module
