Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description

New source evaluation and selection
Process design finalization for Plastic
Tooling cost settlement for NPD BOPs.
Part cost settlement for NPD BOPs
Tool design evaluation.
Technical specification review for new development.
Monitor NPD to ensure timeline.
Releasing daily, weekly, & monthly MIS for above activities.
Testing should be carry as per Customer specifications & Process validation as per Timeline shared to Customer. Continuously monitoring the physical properties.
Record of documentations compound recipes and RMs changes details etc.
VAVE testing and trial with Production team,
Standardization of compounds and chemicals

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification and Experience
Mechanical/Tool Engineering/P.G.Diploma in Tool & Die Making with minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience, from Plastic Industry.
Exposure to Power Point, MS-Excel
Knowledge of Engineering and manufacturing processes of Plastic
Knowledge of Process Tools, Jigs & Fixtures is essential
New Supplier Evaluation
Should have strong Problem solving skills and attention to detail are essential
Attitude to work in challenging environment.
Strong knowledge of APQP/ PPAP processes.
2D/3D Software Knowledge
Well versed about TFC for plastics Injection moulding component , designing exposure& project management
