Entry into the department before shift time: -

Report to both shift in charge (Previous & Present shift)

Get the plan for two shifts (Current & Next shift)

Know about the target related to output and quality if any.

Discuss regarding incident, deviation, if any.

Any special instruction regarding to work area & the product running on that line.

Report to concern workplace:

Supervisor shall handle granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling, tablet inspection activities and all non-process area maintenance on requirement basis.

Meet the reliever at the workplace and take round of the workplace together and along with both shift operators.

During round check: cleanliness for entire area, machine and order and location of different equipment and accessories including line alignment.

Allocate Manpower in the work area.

Controlled area should be maintained under lock and key.

Ensure machine shall be operated as per Standard Operating Procedure

Together talk to both shift in charge and update them the status and have a discussion for any action plan or specific instructions.

Allocate the MP for difference stations based on their work/job responsibility.

Perform in-process checks as per the defined time frequency.

If any discrepancy intimate to shift in charge immediately

Conduct training of operators and also complete assigned training in compliance wire.

Follow BMR instructions

Do in process check as per the frequency mentioned

Do batch reconciliation

Follow machine standard operating procedure and cleaning procedure

Ensure area and equipment cleanliness

Ensure calibration of all equipment

Report to superior and IPQA if any discrepancy observed

Strictly follow ALCOA

Must be consider for the following

Safety Measures to follow

  • Ensure PPE to follow
  • Environmental condition to check
  • Maintain personnel hygiene

To maintain basic discipline in department

Improvement projects related to cost saving, quality, man hour saving, safety to be evaluate.

For any type of leaves shall be intimated to concerned shift in charge and department head and prior approval shall be taken before taking leave.

Ensure the are & equipment qualification.

To follow the procedures pertaining to the environmental management system.

To support in implementation new procedure related to environment management system.

To report any observation / non-conformance related to the environment management system

To follow and maintain 5s in workplace.
