As a Sr. PMO Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all projects are running smoothly, on budget, and on time. You’ll liaise with project team members to gather, analyze, and monitor project data, as well as prepare project status reports. You should be able to identify clients’ business needs and meet them through effective project management and analysis. You must review and edit projects, communicate effectively with the team, solve the projects’ hindering concepts, propose, and improve the project efficiency.

Position Description

We are looking for a creative, passionate and experienced leader of both people and technology for the position of Sr. PMO Analyst with 4 to 8 years of experience as PMO Analyst/Associate PM/PM.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and implementing project & resource management strategies aligned with organization standards and legal requirements.
  • Ensuring project parameters meet clients’ agreed-upon needs & expectations and are efficient
  • Monitor projects on a regular basis by gathering and analyzing project data to identify its weaknesses and resolve any time-related or budgetary snags evaluating progress and quality, and managing issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Preparing project status reports for management review & communicating the same
  • Synchronize all project related reports from the start to a formalized project closure.
  • Manage multiple teams and assign work activities, including research, analysis, development, & testing of designs, issue resolutions, status reporting, implementation, documentation etc.
  • Assist and coordinate with the team in discussing project development, estimating activities, costing, benefits, adjusting timing, and reducing financial risk impact.
  • Understand a project’s scope and create & maintain all necessary documents for the project
  • Conduct project meetings to communicate individual roles, project expectations etc.

Mandatory Skills
  • Strong expertise in managing waterfall projects. (Kanban & Agile experience would be a plus)
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal along with excellent presentation skills with experience in creating different types of powerpoint presentations and excel reports.
  • Experience in managing resources, utilization, budgets & creating status reports for all levels.
  • Experience in communicating & coordinating with multiple stakeholders, teams, vendors etc. including international clients/global (Japanese experience would be a plus) teams in IT

Good to have certifications
  • PMP/PSM/CSM/Prince2 or any other management related certifications

Qualifications
  • B.E / B-Tech/ MCA / MBA.
