Job Description Summary We are looking for an Architect who will be responsible for driving Reliability and Performance strategy for Edison Machine platform as a project leader or internal consultant.
You will be responsible for providing architectural and design leadership within product teams and collaborate with imaging software councils in driving forward looking Reliability & Performance roadmap based on the direction from the Senior Leadership or management aligning to organization vision.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.

  • Driver Performance and Reliability strategy, Architecture and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Based on the needs from other imaging teams, Architect should be able to define Performance and Reliability roadmap for platform components

  • Participate in the Enterprise Architecture governance model.

  • Coordinate closely with platform development teams and build performance and reliability automation framework and help drive NFR needs.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to bring in continuous improvement in performance and reliability.

  • Provide architectural leadership to performance and reliability tech leads and team members

  • Act as a member of the Software council, representing the face of high quality design and defining forward looking technology roadmap

  • Collaborate with Architects, Technical Leads, Product Owners and Software Developers to ensure coverage of non-functional requirements for platforms and imaging solutions

  • Propose high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end solutions for Performance & Reliability framework

  • Apply principles of SDLC, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques in alignment of Healthcare domain

  • Participate architecture / design reviews and ensure meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

  • Ensure performance parameters are adhered by the development team

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive 10 plus years of experience in strategizing and providing architectural leadership for Performance & Reliability needs for healthcare solutions and platform components developed using Rest based Microservices, Infra and PaaS (Docker, K8S etc)

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing Performance & Reliability automation framework for microservices based architecture, SPA, micro front ends, Docker / K8S, East/West traffic etc.

  • Extensive experience in tools like JMeter, Automation script development and designing stress testing scenario

  • Familiarity with Healthcare Imaging and Radiology workflows

  • Experience in Object oriented programming and data structures, Micro services

  • Linux/Unix Experience

  • Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level

  • Ability to Analyze and design Performance & Reliability automation framework based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

  • Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.

  • Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.

  • Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.

  • Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
