Job Description Summary As Lead System Designer, you will be responsible for overall System Design of multiple release lines across Coreload, EML and Cyber release lines. You will have to ensure system level integration, assess overall system impact, QMS / DHF compliance, representing design control process and additionally handle Quality metrics, dashboard and Continuous improvement, ensure quality target are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for multiple release lines across Coreload, EML and Cyber release lines.
  • Have to ensure system level integration, assess overall system impact, QMS / DHF compliance, representing design control process and additionally handle Quality metrics, dashboard and Continuous improvement, ensure quality target are met.
  • Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimate and justify the estimate with facts
  • Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.
  • Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs
  • Execute in a fast pace delivery mode and focus in delivering tasks to meet the product release goal
  • Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them
  • Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.
  • Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision


Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
  • 6+ years of Experience

Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of overall System & Software Design
  • Review and assess FMEA, Design for Reliability, SOUP Analysis, Impact Analysis from defects / new requirements with Scrum Teams
  • Review and approve Nessus scans, Fossology scan, DHF Release documents, Defect closure, DRB Analysis and ALM requirements
  • Track and ensure continuous improvement on Release Quality, Metrics, CI/CD and Automation
