This is a position in the Xilinx Data center group’s Multimedia IP and Infrastructure team to develop Video Pre-Processing and Post Processing algorithms, High Level Synthesis IPs, Linux Drivers, Gstreamer Plugin and Reference Designs Digital Video Subsytem. This team develop drivers and reference designs for various connectivity audio-video connectivity protocols like DP, HDMI, MIPI and SDI. As a Staff Software Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for development of Audio Video Processing Subsystems, Drivers, Applications and Reference Designs. Staff Software engineers are expected to participate in and lead all aspects of a technical project. This position requires the individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, able to put complete algorithm in optimized way to run it on FPGA. The engineer would get opportunity to interact with Marketing, FAEs and Customers to understand their requirements and accordingly plan and execute them to provide best in class customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer or Electrical/Electronic engineering
  • Strong academic background
  • Strong expertise C/C++, Audio Video Domain, Image Processing and Computer Vision Techniques
  • Must need to have fundamental knowledge of Video Standards like YUV, RGB, YUV420
  • Must need to have knowledge on at least one Audio-Video connectivity protocol like DP, HDMI, MIPI or DSI
  • Experience in Linux Device driver development
  • Good to have knowledge on Gstreamer, FFMPEG framework debugging and plugins development
  • Through understanding of ARM architecture

Education Requirements- : B.E/ M.E. in Electrical Engineering/ Communication or Computer Engineering
