EDA drives strategic and sustainable returns on risk by providing Credit Suisse’s next generation market risk management solution with attestable data and reproducible quant analytics:

  • Platform composed of reusable data, services and models
  • Quants directly deliver data models and analytics content
  • Golden source of trade level and aggregated front-office risk measures
  • Computes firm-wide financial calculations with complex data dependencies at scale
  • Empowers enterprise risk driven trading, hedging and cross-desk capital allocation decisions

Within Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) Technology, the Data Engineering team sources, organizes and governs the data available to users of the EDA Platform.

Your future colleagues

Data Engineering has staff in the US, UK and Poland and is currently establishing a presence in Pune.

Our agile team is looking to grow in 2021 to adopt Cloud technology and provide the next generation calculation and analytics platform for the Firm’s risk reporting needs.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate will have the following skills and 6-8 years of experience:

  • Subject matter-expertise in at least one of the following:
  • Product reference data
  • Trade data lifecycle and product characteristics
  • Front Office risk management (sensitivities and scenarios)
  • Experienced in problem solving
  • Professional experience performing data analysis on large datasets (using SQL, Excel, Python or similar tooling)
  • Market risk domain knowledge – including an understanding of risk methodology and an awareness of how data issues may impact calculations
  • Experience of the full development lifecycle as well as coordinating with IT teams to ensure data quality and completeness in data feeds
  • Outstanding team-player, self-motivated, proactive and can manage workload
  • Flexible, with the ability to communicate risks associated with conflicting task deadlines and can thrive under pressure
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
