Job content

• Understand customer requirements and determine the type of deployment architecture required for the application.
• Provide infrastructure recommendations based on user volumes and work closely with infrastructure provisioning team to deliver the hardware.
• Work on performance issues, tune the configuration and update troubleshooting guides.
• Approve Infrastructure recommendations created by team and guide them to delivering right hardware.
• Coordinate Performance Tests and tune the configuration of the application to run effectively with minimum resources.
• Create/Update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for process flows and quality enhancements.
• Collaborate with peers and mentor them for better results.

Skills and Experience
• Six plus years of experience on any Middleware namely Apache Tomcat, JBoss
• Web Servers like Apache and Ngnix
• Hands on Docker, SWARM and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge on webservers: Apache Httpd, Oracle HTTP Server and IBM Http Server.
• Good scripting knowledge using Windows PowerShell, Batch Scripting, Unix’s shell scripting, Perl Scripting.
• Good knowledge on Windows, Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding on Performance Tuning and Impact Analysis of the tuning.
• Good knowledge on various types of hardware and hardware architecture.
• Good knowledge on Oracle Database tools namely SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL.
• Knowledge on Release Management, Change Management and Incident Management.
• Understanding on Oracle Performance Tuning and Oracle Networking concepts.

Education
B.E/B.Tech/MCA/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
