Your Opportunity

The role is of a Technical Program Manager who is motivated to drive the People Solutions Area by leading one or more high performing scrum teams. The role is also expected to make a difference to the product in terms of the innovative thoughts, best designs and contribute towards identifying technical risks and find alternate solutions to various problems. Help the team leverage and contribute to open-source technologies.

Your Responsibility

• Lead cross-functional teams spread across geography to deliver complex program .

• Manage agile methodology based delivery of complex programs/products.

• Plan and manage multiple parallel projects

• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels

• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

• Apply best practices to the software development life cycle for projects based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well effectively coordinating the implementations across teams using very different approaches

• Interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features

• Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies

• Ensure consistent and transparent status updates with all stakeholders (engineering, Business, product, leadership)

• Measure and improve Project/program performance, Operational performance and Portfolio performance using metrics/KPI’s.

• Engage stakeholders including downstream business owners in the identification, execution and sustainment stages of benefits realization management.

• Communicate benefits and learning back into the strategy planning cycle.

• Recommend improvements and drive alignment across teams

• Coach and mentor the organization to facilitate adoption and maturity

• Lead and influence others including management on best practices

• Manage partnerships with external vendors

• Ensure the following of Scrum and Kanban Rituals as needed.

Your Qualifications

• An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream – Computer Science preferred.

• 6+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry.

• Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules.

• Experience in product/program/portfolio governance.

• Experience in budget management.

• Prior experience with agile methodologies and practices

• Awareness on cloud technologies is required.

• Manage dev ops teams

• Prior hands-on development experience is preferred.

• A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving • Understand the product and project management space

• Experience across the product development SDLC

• Preferably CSM/SAFe certified

• Strong experience in Project Management Information systems including but not limited to Jira and Confluence.
